Minister for Employment and Labour Abdul Gani Malik made the announcement in the legislative assembly after several members voiced concern over certain provisions of the Sher-e-Kashmir employment and welfare programmes. It was alleged that the government had put stringent conditions for the youth to qualify to avail benefits of the policy. |

'A Drop for Life and Mind' project launched last month by SIO at the hands of state water minister N.K. Premachandran will cover 2000 families who have to fetch water from long distance. |

The road which traverses the high mountainous route taken by Mughal emperors to visit Kashmir is a dream project. The road will offer an alternative route to the valley. |
