To empower the students belonging to the minority communities, the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India has taken a bold initiative to offer job oriented training programmes through empanelled agencies. Center For Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the premier R & D organization of the Ministry of communications and IT, Government of India is one of the institutions that will train students for jobs in the private sector under this scheme. The training programmes have been designed to prepare the students for careers in information technology (IT), business process outsourcing (BPO) and other IT enabled services.

General instructions and conditions
1. APPLICATION FORM IS COMMON FOR ALL C-DAC COURSES UNDER THE SCHEMES.
2. Candidate is required to select any one course while filling in the application form.
3. Based on the course eligibility candidate will select the name(s) of the course for which he is eligible for admission.
4. Please read the details of the C-DAC courses carefully for knowing specific details about the course. The printed course brochures are available at all training centres. Applicant may also visit the C-DAC, ACTS website http://acts.cdac.in/minority and go through the e-brochure.
5. Please fill in the application form completely. Incomplete application form will be summarily rejected.
6. Providing incorrect / false information will lead to cancellation of candidature or termination of the training.
7. C-DAC's decision regarding the admission shall be final and binding on all candidates.
8. Please note that the 2 photograph is mandatory one photograph will be affixed on the application form and other affixed on the admit card for the interview and if the candidate is selected for the course, then the same photograph will be printed on the Identity Card and finally on the course Certificate. Additional Photo Identification (like Driving License/ Voters ID card / College ID card / Passport) will also be required to be produced by the candidate while appearing for the interview at the training centre.
9. For appearing in the interview, candidate needs to register only once.
10. Please do not make multiple registrations for appearing for the Interview. If the candidates make multiple registrations, then all the registrations may be rejected and candidate may not be allowed to appear for the interview.
11. The result of the Interview will be displayed on the website of C-DAC, ACTS on the day of result as per schedule. A message clearly indicating whether the candidate has qualified for the C-DAC courses along with confirmed admission list, list of centres available based on your preferred city will be shown to you for your reference.
12. The Admission process shall be followed by written test and personal interview. Centres have to conduct the written exam followed by the personal interview as per the schedule.
Written test is of 1 hour and consists of 60 objective questions. Each question shall carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.
The syllabus for the written test is given below.
Section I: Computing Fundamentals (10 Marks)
Evolutions of computers, Computer generations, Computer organization, Primary and Secondary storage, Input-output devices, Computer software, Operating systems, Data communications and computer networking, Multimedia, Classification of computers, etc.
Section II : Fundamentals of Programming (15 marks)
Algorithms, Flowcharts, Computer languages, System implementation and operation, File organizations and Data processing, etc.
Section III : General Aptitude (35 marks)
The candidates who qualified in written examination will have to appear for personal interview. Guideline for the conduction of interview shall be given by ACTS. Selection of Candidates shall be based on written test and interview.
13. At the end of the confirmed admission list, a waitlist will be declared (if any). The seats available after the deadline for admission will be filled up in the order of a candidate's waitlist number.

- Applicant should attach required certificates attested by Gazetted officer with the application form.
- Applicants will have to submit original copies of their certificates / marks sheets at the time of the selection process at the centre selected by the candidate. Applicants will also have to produce their original certificates for verification at C-DAC Training Centres / ATC's of C-DAC.
