The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA), Government of India has envisaged d to undertake a landmark e-governance project to computerize wakf records. Wakf Management System of India (WAMSI) is a three-year project beginning from 2009. In its ambit, it has onus to computerize records of 29 State Wakf Boards (SWBs) as mentioned in Wakf Act, 1995 and Jammu & Kashmir Wakf Board.

Muslim community to form school board on CBSE patterns

Ma’dani: Karnataka police in Kerala

Kollam: A team of the Karnataka police today arrived in Kerala reportedly to accelerate the procedures for arresting PDP leader Abdunnasir Ma'dani, 31st accused in the Bengaluru blast case. Ma'dani was denied anticipatory bail by the Karnataka High Court last day in the case and there is a non-bailable arrest warrant issued against him.
