Petitioner Imtiyazkhan Pathan and others, who are witnesses and victims of the 2002 riots, filed a petition before the court seeking a transfer of the case from the court of judge B.U. Joshi. |

Around 6,000 students are taking admission to 231 courses in Jamia this academic session. The varsity reopens after vacations Friday. The 91-year-old Jamia has also introduced new courses like BA Hons. (Tourism and Hospitality), Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) among others. |
