Gujarat cop held for Prajapati killing in fake gun battle Posted: 13 May 2010 10:42 AM PDT By IANS, Gandhinagar: A Gujarat police inspector was arrested Thursday for his role in the killing of Tulsi Prajapati in an alleged fake gun battle. He is the fifth policeman to be arrested in the case. Inspector Ashish Pandya was arrested when he reported at the anti-corruption bureau office in Rajkot. Prajapati was allegedly killed near Ambaji on the Gujarat-Rajasthan border in December 2006. The state criminal investigation department has intensified its investigation into the case which is believed to be connected with the Sohrabuddin fake gunfight case. |

Representatives of different political parties in Kozhikode district would attend the meeting to be held in Thiruvananthapuram. The date of meeting will be fixed later. The decision to convene a meeting came up in the Cabinet meeting yesterday, in which the ministers discussed about the Kinalur issue for about an hour. |
