Posted: 23 Feb 2010 09:51 AM PST By Shafee Ahmed Ko, TwoCircles.net, Chennai: This is the fear that intellectuals of minority languages in the predominant Tamil speaking state have today, thanks to the M Karunanidhi government's Samacheer Kalvi (Equitable System of Education) policy that will be in force from the academic year 2010-2011. It is certain that due to the policy, based on two-language system (Tamil and English), the state will not allow, after 2015, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada in public examinations. |

Two Sikhs were reported to be brutally killed by Pakistani Taliban on the failure of their family to pay the ransom money. "The brutal killings like these can never be justified by anyone, whatsoever logic one may put forward," said the statement released by SDPI. |

Ten teams representing different states of the country will be vying for the supremacy in the six-week-long tournament held in three grounds, Kaki, Madaen Fahd and the one near Bader Bakery. Final matches will be played on 19th March.
